More of my favourite breeding parents. September flair is a low-growing (<50cm) Hachmann hybrid that has thd tendency to open part of it's flowers already in autumn (hence the name). I didn't actually know the parentage
until I logged in to Hirsutum.info today and checked that it is given as Hachmann's Marina X (dichroanthum ssp X griersonianum). HM is a hybrid of R. wardii. SF overwinters well under snow and, surprisingly,
sometimes flowers in October (not September) even in my climate, too. This does not seem to compromise the normal spring bloom. SF is a reliable mother that doesn't produce pollen and very seldom op seeds.
